CEA has made respect for the environment its own trademark. CEA puts a lot of resources into research towards innovation and sustainability. With the aim of creating “zero waste” construction sites, CEA has certified a 100% recycled asphalt that is produced by recovering milled material from its underground networks maintenance sites and mixing it with a selection of additives.
CEA's patented technique makes it possible to create a product that goes well beyond the standards required by law, as the so-called "Minimum Environmental Criteria" for building works require the use of at least 20% recycled material. After extensive experimentation, all our asphalts can be made with 100% recycled material certified to UNI EN 13108-1 (Certificate issued by the TÜV Certification Body).
